Phenomenal MS66 Silver Dollar Sets Back in a Rare Reappearance

Earlier this year, we offered an unusual group of four-date MS66 Peace Dollar sets. These mini-collections contained Peace Dollars dated 1922, 1923, 1924, and 1925—all in the “super grade” of MS66. While our monthly Spotlight coins typically draw a strong response, this one created a frenzy! Within 48 hours of release, we sold 100% of our MS66 Peace Dollar sets and were unfortunately unable to meet the overwhelming demand for these sets.

Not only are we bringing back a very limited and unusual group of MS66 Peace Dollar sets, we have another exceptional group of silver dollar sets that are an excellent complement to the Peace Dollar. Read ahead to learn more about both of these extraordinary sets…

1. MS66 Peace Dollar Sets are Back!

MS66 Silver Peace Dollar

If you missed out on February’s offering of MS66 Peace Dollar sets, under very unusual circumstances, we were able to secure nine (9) more sets—and we wanted to let you know, because this is exceptionally rare in the numismatic world. Like before, these four-coin instant collections contain a 1922, 1923, 1924, and 1925 Peace Dollar graded MS66 by PCGS or NGC. For complete details about the rarity and history of these Peace Dollar sets, we encourage you to click here for the complete background we published earlier this year.

But we didn't stop there… In addition to these stunning MS66 Peace Dollar sets, our numismatic expert was able to locate another rare group of MS66 silver dollar sets—but this time for the Peace Dollar's successor, the Morgan Silver Dollar.

2. More High-Grade Silver Dollars at a Beautiful Price!

It’s easy to see why the MS66 Peace Dollar sets vanished from inventory so quickly. Silver dollars are immensely popular in all forms and designs, but they’re especially coveted in high grades. The guaranteed assortment of dates at a low price point made them even more alluring. With that in mind, we think you’ll love what we assembled today.

MS66 1881 Silver Morgan DollarWe just acquired a group of 1878 to 1904 silver Morgan Dollars, all graded MS66 by PCGS and NGC. This was a lucky find on two levels. First, the group contained a plethora of different dates, including many scarcer and tougher issues. We only expected to receive perhaps one or two different dates in this cache, but we were instead surprised to find over half a dozen date and mintmark combinations.

Secondly, we picked them up at a record low price. Not long ago, any MS66 silver Morgan Dollar traded for $400 to $500 per coin. When spot silver was screaming towards $50 per ounce in 2011, dealers were feverishly bidding $500 or more per coin! Now, MS66 Morgan Dollars are available at a bargain level. The NGC Price Guide pegs MS66 Morgans at $260 per coin or more (many dates command more), but you can grab them now for less.

Today, we have sets of five (5) different MS66 silver Morgan Dollars. With MS65 Morgans selling for $140 to $160 per coin, MS66 specimens represent an outstanding value in the low to mid-$200s. Typically, MS66 Morgans will sell for $175 to $275 more per coin than their MS65 counterparts—at today’s rates, they are truly a bargain.

Act Now—Quantities are Limited!

MS66 1922 Silver Peace DollarWhether you’re considering our MS66 Morgan or Peace Dollar sets, there is one common thread: rarity. These silver dollars may be easy to find in low grades, but they become significantly scarcer in Gem Uncirculated condition. Just a minute fraction (much less than 1%!) of all vintage silver dollars have survived in MS66.

Finding these high-grade silver dollars is a challenge regardless of the circumstances, but obtaining such a wide variety of dates is even more difficult. We did the hard work of assembling these instant mini-collections—all you have to do is enjoy them! Our only caveat is to act quickly.

As mentioned previously, our February offering of MS66 Peace Dollars was spoken for instantly. We expect a similar reaction to these additional nine sets—and our new trove of MS66 Morgans. Whether you’re looking to pick up these high-grade Morgans or Peace Dollars, our recommendation is the same: act quickly before they disappear!
