As such, this marked the most significant monthly increase since the Reddit-driven silver squeeze in early 2021." In July, silver started the second half of the year with further signs of strength, hitting 14-year highs. Right now, precious metals are being supported by a lower U.S. dollar index and a dip in U.S. Treasury yields. The upward trend looks set to continue... As such, we are drawing even closer to the psychologically important price level of $40 per oz. silver. At this level, the market could see a mixture of profit-taking by some, while other investors jump in to take advantage of the rally. From there, it's only a matter of time before silver sets its sights on the all-time high at $50.
