Kirsch founded Asset Strategies International in 1982. We are now in our 43rd year of business. That means we are currently working with original clients, second generation clients, and even third generation clients. As a result, we have seen our fair share of generational transfers of precious metals. We have seen this go smoothly. We have seen this go quite painfully as well. How well the transition of assets from one generation to the next occurs is oftentimes dependent upon how well you prepared your assets and your heirs for that transition. Given our experience in this process over the years, I was very happy when I was asked by the CEO of Stansberry Asset Management (SAM), Chris DeLaura, to conduct a webinar with his team on this topic. It is a topic that desperately needed to be addressed.
